QCU does not claim that electricity is stored in a digital coin. It records the physical energy required for completed work, connects that work to a measured customer outcome, and uses governed reserve coverage to prevent promises from exceeding supportable capacity.

01Measure what the machines actually use

QCU begins with measured electricity, including the joules consumed by servers doing real work. That gives the system a physical starting point instead of a marketing estimate.

02Find the first domino

QCU connects signals from power, cooling, servers, networks, and software. It helps the service team work through the Five Whys and identify the condition most likely to have caused the problem.

03Choose a safe response

The fastest or cheapest action is not always safe. QCU compares possible responses and keeps the action inside the customer’s uptime, security, policy, and reserve limits.

04Prove what changed

After the MSP acts, independent evidence checks whether the action improved uptime, lowered cost, reduced energy use, or recovered capacity. Activity alone is not counted as value.

A system can move only as fast as its tightest bottleneck.

Imagine a school cafeteria with ten food stations and one checkout register. Adding another food station does not shorten the line because checkout is the bottleneck. A data center works the same way. The limit might be grid power, cooling, a network link, GPU temperature, or the time required to verify an outcome. QCU helps the MSP find that limiting condition before spending money on the wrong fix.

Two things changing together does not prove that one caused the other.

Suppose server temperature and cooling-pump power rise at the same time. The pump may not be the cause. A new workload could be pushing both numbers upward. QCU compares the proposed action with a fair alternative, checks timing and system relationships, and shows uncertainty. If the evidence is not strong enough, it says so.

HOW A HOLDER OF QCUs OR SEAs MAY MAKE MONEY

The economics come from useful service and fulfilled obligations, not passive holding.

01Useful service

Use QCU for admitted compute or digital services. The holder receives operating utility and may avoid paying for the same capability elsewhere.

02Verified outcomes

Under an agreed contract, earn a performance fee or shared savings only after independent evidence supports the customer improvement.

03Compute delivery

An admitted provider may earn execution, license, or receipt fees by supplying useful infrastructure through the QCU contract.

04Reserve delivery

SEA participation may support contracted payment for reserve availability or delivery that was measured, usable, and independently verified.

05Qualified network roles

Approved providers may earn fees for measurement, verification, routing, registry, or settlement services. Holding alone does not grant authority.

06Permitted settlement or transfer

QCUs may be bought from other holders through an available, authorized secondary market when buyer demand exists and applicable contracts and rules permit the transaction. Holders may also use an allowed settlement, redemption, or transfer.
